Amybeth McNulty was born in Ireland, but was raised in Canada. Her most well-known role is her role as the main character Anne Shirley on the CBC/Netflix Drama series Anne with an E. The drama is based on the novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery Anne of Green Gables from 1908. Amybeth McNulty is the only child of a Canadian and Irish parents. She was born in Milford County Donegal on 7th November 2001. Amybeth is an Irish born woman. Amybeth turns twenty-one in 2023. Her birthplace and education was on the island of Donegal in Ireland. She has both Irish citizenship and Canadian citizenship. Her hair naturally is blonde. Anne had a complicated relationship and a strained relationship with Gilbert Blythe. Gilbert was just two years older than Anne however, they both attended the same level of school. Gilbert's schooling was disrupted by the illness of his father. Gilbert nicknamed Anne Carrots when they first met. Amybeth McNulty plays Anne, an unwed and orphaned teenager who endures a childhood that is filled with violence in orphanages and houses. Anne is forced to live in Prince Edward Island with her older sisters, Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert. The story ends in 1919 and Gilbert and Anne remain happily together. Gilbert is 55 years old and remains in love with Anne.
